Dating A Part-Time Job That Requires Time

It’s almost like a part-time job in a way. When you have a job, you have to put time into doing it well.

Let’s say that you’re looking for a new job. There wouldn’t be any embarrassment or shame in seeking out a career counselor, going to a head hunter or talking to people discreetly about the fact that you’re looking to change jobs. You would put in a lot of work and effort. You would get your resume together. You would do it right.

Dating A Part-Time Job, Apply the Effort

When it comes to people’s love life, they don’t necessarily want to put the time in.

There is some embarrassment around it. People are shy. It’s emotionally draining to start getting out there.

Fifteen hours a week sounds like a lot for people. They don’t really want to put in that kind of time.

I have found that, if you don’t put in that much time, then it kind of becomes all for naught.

Dating A Part-Time Job with Dedication

If you just put a couple of hours into online dating, you pick out one or two people and then you meet someone, maybe it’s a real dud. Then you give up because it’s really demoralizing.

You’re definitely not getting anywhere.

You’ve put in all this work. You think, “This online dating thing doesn’t work.”

Dating A Part-Time Job with Commitment

If you put in more time consistently over a six month period or a year, the statistics pan out that something will come your way.

You see patterns of what works and what doesn’t work.

Yes. If you keep doing the same thing over and over and you don’t refine it then it could take longer than six months.
