There is much more going on with a person than meets the eye, especially for women. Men are a little more visual.

Women will have ideas about what they need in a partner. This can sometimes be part of their own self-defeating pattern. People tell me all kinds of ridiculous ideas, as I’m sure they’ve told you:

  1. He needs to be tall.
  2. He needs to make a certain amount of money.
  3. He has to be blonde.

The truth is that there is so much going on when people fall in love and find a lasting passionate relationship. We don’t know all the things. I don’t know all the things.

There is a mystery there. I believe that there is a spiritual component to it. Some people don’t buy that but I think there is.

When you see someone, you may not know what is really there. If it doesn’t fit your simple little picture, you may throw away a perfectly amazing soulmate.

I say to give a person a chance. See them more than once if you’re on the same wavelength. Maybe there is not so much chemistry. See where that could develop. Give them a chance. Date against type. If you always go for the alpha males, try a more spiritual type. See what happens with that.
